Yoga began stirring within me after my daughters birth in 2000. I had these feelings of trauma and stress moving around my body no amount of running, achievements, weight loss or covering could shift. My curiosity began as I started studying the eight limbs of yoga. Intrigued by the simplicity and gentleness of this practice, I dived into teaching Bodybalance which combines Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates into a 60 minute format.
As a Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach I felt I needed to go deeper with my clients and more so into myself to offer this work to the world. In 2016, I fully immersed into the 200 hour Yogacara Teacher Training in New Zealand which opened up parts of my intuitive body, confidence and fearlessness which were untapped. Loving how much more ‘me’ I felt, I then immersed into an additional 300 hours with Yogacara in 2017.
Returning home to Australia, my eyes were opened to the potential of integrating yoga into everyones life. My Personal Training sessions became one on one yoga sessions which continue today at my home based studio. The results are in my clients who have now let go of the illusion of being more, to just being open to life, love and receiving.
As an educator for adult learning, yoga has become an integral part of who I am and what I offer the world which I’m delighted to share.
