Why Restorative Yoga?
Restorative Yoga is the yoga for the nervous system. This slow, gentle practice allows your students to completely relax and heal within a safe space. It’s time to be still.
Restorative Yoga takes mindfulness to the next level. Suitable for practicing yoga teachers, inquisitive students, nurses, teachers, psychologists, social workers or anyone wishing to incorporate this modality into their current work/life role.
A Restorative Yoga Teacher must cultivate a space of trust between themselves and their students. First, we must let silence do the heavy lifting….
This practice is a gift to teach others who are in tune with their intuition or wish to deepen this aspect of themselves. During a 60 minute class you can expect to be laying passively mostly. The yoga teacher will offer 5-6 postures during the class while supported over bolsters, blankets and props.
Take the load off your feet and restore yourself through this healing practice.
