Assessment

You will be assessed as part of your course to become a Yoga Teacher.  You will be required to:

•Participate in 40 classes prior to your teacher training

•8 class observation reports

•A minimum of 10 hands-on assists

•5 one hour classes with your training group and leaders

•A business plan including marketing your business and setting up as a contractor

•2 written exams.  1 in anatomy and physiology and 1 in yoga philosophy

•Evidence of reading pre-course books (check under ‘Books’ in menu)

•Complete a student screening form available on Fitness Australia website

Sharon Neish is the founder and principal of Mind Body Yoga Flow. Sharon has studied and travelled extensively learning from leading international facilitators world wide. Sharon has followed her guidance on her own spiritual path from her early teens, writing a book, "Unleash Your Inner Coach", Head Lecturer at Global Fitness College specialising in Adult Education and Assessing.
An inquisitive nature of the body to a successful career in Personal Training and studying First Response Paramedics. Sharon's dharma is to share an embodied practice of yoga in its essence.

Kimberley Harmsworth has been teaching professionally for many years while continuing her studies. A graduate of business, Kimberley offers profound wisdom through Kundalini giving her the unique ability to transform any space to a sacred one.

Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is for any student wanting to deepen their studies of yoga using the 7 principles of discipline.

The 7 Principles of Yoga

Advancing your Teacher Training takes you further into your practice bringing light into yoga philosophy, sanskrit and the ancient art of chanting. There are a myriad of ways to incorporate chanting into your own personal practice. This could be as simple as repeating Om 3 times or perhaps chanting a particularly fitting vers of the Bhagavad Gita.
